RESEARCH AND PLANNING - Presentation

For the benefit of the rest of our class we composed a power point presentation of our planning so far. This allowed us to share our thoughts and ideas with them, and allowed us to gain their feedback and constructive critisism, then use it to impove our planning as well as our final piece.

We produced many slides on the Microsoft Powerpoint software, to clearly layout how we planned our whole filming process. We explained where we were going to film, the music we were going to use, actors chosen, shot angles and types chosen, the questionaires used to gather primary market research, previous trailers analyised, and a summary of our overall trailer.

Some of the feedback we recieved was, to make a clear differentiation between our flashback and present day clips, so it is easily recognisable to our audience. They liked how much detail went into the thought of which type of fonts we used for the captions, and the contrasting colours, which helped portray elements of our film.

This was very useful feedback, as it will help us when writing our evaluations, as to why we chose to do things certain ways.
