EVALUATION - Runaway and our Target Audience

Our target audience for Runaway would be in the way of teenagers and young adults. We are looking to direct our attention at those seeking thrills and twists. From the plans of our trailer, and general concept of our final piece, we are hoping to provide some evidence of the story whilst retaining a deal of mystery. Hopefully, this will hook our target audience in, and generate some interest as if it were a genuine piece.

We're looking to create genre indicators to aid us in this, such as providing the romance, drama, thriller elements and possibly even horror (i.e - phone ringing eerily, door knocking and suggestive knife shots) Camera shots will also play a part in this process, as we need to retain an aura of mystery, so that the viewer doesn't really know if the main character is safe in her own house (i.e - Raf taking out a knife (Is it in the past, or present?)) If executed well we expect to create a decent teaser trailer and hold typical techniques of the genre we are creating.
