We had until the 11th December to complete our planning.
This included:
- Analysing other trailers
- Mind mapping ideas
- Primary research (questionnaires)
- Analysing the mise-en-scene (location, actors, costumes ect. with photos)
- Choosing music
- Captions and font
- Storyboarding
- Scripting
- Choosing our target audience
- Referencing our influences from other films
- Referring to our preliminary tasks and show how we are going to improve from them and our year 12 coursework
It took time to chose when we were all available to film in correlation with our actors. We chose to film on Wednesday 25th November with Jenny, so that we could film all of her sequences on Megan bag packing and getting ready to run away. Then on Tuesday 1st December we filmed with Jenny and Raf with their scenes together. The week in between gave us an opportunity to reflect back and re-watch what we had filmed, to see whether we needed to re-film anything. The only clip we now need to film is the 'meeting' shot, by a postbox, but due to poor whether conditions and the evenings turning dark early, we have been unable to film this scene yet, however we have plenty of time to do so.
We then have until ... to edit our teaser trailer, and complete it.
