For our preliminary task our brief was to create a video of our school to represent it in a good light. We learnt a lot from the production of this piece and we plan to use this information to help us in developing our plans for our teaser trailer into an effective professional piece. The comments on our preliminary task from other members of our class enabled us to create a selection of points which we must keep in mind when filming and editing our trailer. Although the overall intended effect of our trailer and the clip of Therfield School are completely different, the purpose of both pieces is to advertise. This means that we can use similar editing techniques in order to make our work effective and professional.
