A Tripod- this allows us to place the camera upon it to keep it steady and still. We can rotate the handle, to either tilt the camera up and down, or pan it around from side to side. The legs extend to make the tripod as tall or as small as we want it, to vary our use of high and low angle shots. In addition to this the neck of the tripod also extends to give further height if necessary.
This is the camera which we used for filming. It has a built in microphone, so we could record our dialogue as well as the actions of our actors. For the close up shots we didn't use the zoom as this reduces the quality of the shots.Nikki Stock
