From looking at some film magazine front covers I have come to the following conclusions:
- We should have one main image, probably of one character as it is simple but effective - an audience will still be able to recognise the film
- The image should be large
- The body language of the character in the image should give away some of the films genre - or if it is a picture of the actor it should be still some how related to the film or the film industry
- The title of the magazine should be large and stand out from the rest of the text
- A bar code should be present
- Although some magazines didn't have it I think it is important that our magazine advertises what else will be featured in it and also have some text relating to the image
- We may also include a smaller image relating to what else is featured in the magazine
I will look at some more film magazine front covers so that I can gain more information about what our magazine cover should include.
Rach.
