RESEARCH & PLANNING - Tag lines from films of a romantic genre

Though our film is manly a thriller it also have romantic elements in it, these are some poster with have tag lines that are from the romantic genre:

This is a poster for the film When Harry met Sally, the tag line on this poster is: Can two friends sleep together and still love each other in the morning?

The tag line gives the audience clues about the narrative, they already know that the two friends shown love each other and that they sleep together, they assume the story will be about if their friendship and love survives or not.

This is the poster for the film The Notebook, the tag line is: Behind every great love is a great story.

This tells the audience that the film is of the romantic genre and also insinuates that it is based on a book.
This is a poster for the film Dirty Dancing, the tag line is: First dance. First love. The time of your life.

This sums up the main narratives for the film, love and dancing, it also links the now well known theme song and the tag line together.
This is the poster for the film Notting Hill, the tag line is: Can the most famous film star in the world fall for just an ordinary guy?

The audience now knows that Roberts is a famous actress and Grant is just a normal guy, because of the format of most romantic films the audience can assume most of the narrative.
This is the poster for the film Pretty women, the tag line is: She walked off the street, into his life and stole his heart.

From this the audience can assume that Gere is richer than Roberts as she 'walked off the street', therefore they will assume it is a rags to riches story for Roberts, they know that it ends happily as the tag line insinuates that they end up together 'stole his heart'
